FRONT DOOR DESIGN AND STAGING
Patricia Fears Ruffner is the owner of Front Door Design & Staging, LLC.
Trish is a Designer and Home Staging Specialist. She has studied and worked with many prominent women in the design industry. She started her transition into the design world by completing her Certification for Home Staging and Business with Five-Time Emmy award winning television personality and HGTV Star, Cathy Hobbs, to become an Accredited Staging Professional. To help enhance her staging skills, she pursued certification as a True Colour Expert with renowned color expert, Maria Killiam.
Prior to pursuing her passion in the design industry, Trish was a Patent Paralegal at an International Law Firm in Boston. It taught her work ethic, problem solving, teamwork, efficiency, communication skills. Her second–and greatest career choice–a Stay-At-Home Mom to two beautiful children for 20 years. This capitalized on all she learned as a paralegal and added organization, time-management, empathy and above all, unconditional love to her repertoire.
And now, Trish has found her third and most passionate career--combining her eye for design and love for her home to look its best--in the design industry. She continues on her professional path in the design world by studying with Award-Winning Interior Designer, Debbe Daley and Home Staging Guru, Author and Coach Marianne Cherico.

I hired Patricia, to help two of my clients get their home market ready. She was professional, prompt and spent a great deal of time listening to my seller clients. She worked with the items they had on hand and guided them with a few needed purchases to complete the home staging. She kept their budget in mind, knowing they were selling and wanted to get their biggest bang for their buck. We listed one of the homes she helped with her staging experience. Proud to say we received over 14 offers and went under agreement within 48 hours. I plan on using Patricia in the future with my seller clients. Highly recommend Patricia for any of your interior design needs.
Trish offered some very simple and straightforward recommendations for staging our house prior to selling. We were able to incorporate most of her suggestions and the house looked fantastic when we were done. The staging gave it a sharp, fresh look and I truly believe it played a big part in generating the 15 offers we received within 4 days, including a final contract. Thank you Trish!
Trish has a keen eye and impeccable taste when it comes to home decor. Her attention to detail and sense of style can freshen up any room or house. I highly recommend Your Front Door if you’re looking to sell your home or just want a new look to enjoy yourself!
We contacted Trish at Home Staging to prepare our large empty house for sale. Trish brought in just the right amount of furnishings that fit perfectly in our home. Pictures came out beautifully. She has a great knack for taking a difficult situation and making it work. We are so happy with the photos our realtor used and grateful it helped our home sell.
Trish has an eye for style and attention to details! That is why I recommend her highly when choosing a stager. She staged an estate in Rockport that I listed and the photos came out amazing. Her professionalism and “can do attitude” instantly puts sellers at ease!
Trish did a great job staging a home for me to prepare it for sale. She brought warmth & personality to the home. The home went under contract with the buyers the first weekend. Trish has a great eye & style.
Trish has the most amazing taste in decorating. Trish has never staged my house, however, I have been in her house on many occasions and absolutely love her flair for decorating. I always seek her advice and would use her to stage my house not only for a sale opportunity but for interior design services.
"Trish has spectacular taste and a knack for decorating. When my daughter wanted a room redesign, Trish transformed the room into a cool space for my daughter and her friends to hang out. She was mindful of budget and found unique pieces to incorporate with existing furniture and utilized the space to its best advantage! If you want good taste combined with great customer service, Trish is the person to choose."
"Trish sets the bar for expectations, and an acute eye for detail other home stagers tend to overlook. If you are looking for 1 on 1 personalized home staging/design there is no will who will care more about your homes presentation in the seacoast!"
"Trish was one of the first friends I met when I moved to the Seacoast 11 years ago. She's intelligent, conscientious, and highly qualified, and I highly recommend her services. She has a great sense of style and will show off your home's best features."
"I've known Trish for years and when she decided on a second career, I knew that staging homes would be a great fit. She has fantastic taste, is highly organized, and a flare for decorating! Please do yourself a favor and let Trish make your life better and more beautiful!"
"Trish has great intuition when it comes to home decor. Every room she touches turns into something warm, inviting and always aesthetically above board. Her style exudes class without formality. You want to be in the rooms she decorates."
"Trish brought in beautiful furniture and staged the house perfectly!"
We are always collaborating and meeting with fellow designers for continuing education to increase our skillset in the design world. We may head to the Boston Design Center, a fellow colleague's business or an antique store!
My mentors and colleagues are on the left at a recent workshop in Portsmouth. And here I am on the right, showing off this vintage lamp to this Designer Collaborative group... it was the highlight of the "field trip" to an antique store in Maine!
