A LITTLE ABOUT ME!
MY THIRD CAREER.
I’ve learned so much from every career I have had. I spent 11 years as a Patent Paralegal at an International Law Firm in Boston–it was my first job and I loved it. It taught me work ethic, problem solving, teamwork, efficiency, communication skills. I was also privy to cool inventions prior to being for sale on store shelves–the Gillette MACH3 Razor being one of them. Cool, right??
My second–and greatest career choice–a Stay-At-Home Mom to two beautiful children for 20 years. This capitalized on all I learned as a paralegal and added organization, time-management, empathy and above all, unconditional love to my repertoire.
And now, as my children grow, I have found my third career, Home Staging. I have combined my eye for design and love for my home to look it’s best and turn it into a career I absolutely love. My training as a certified staging consultant, as well as a True Colour Expert, enable me to provide you with the best advice for staging your home. There is no doubt in my mind that I am on the right path with this career. I am looking forward to implementing all the skills I have learned along the way and attaining more!
WHY HOME STAGING?
It started when I was a little girl, I would rearrange my bedroom every week. It drove my parents CRAZY! I never bought anything new (though I did talk my mother into putting wallpaper up one time!) so I had to be creative with placement and DIY projects. And the gratification I felt after every “project” gave me a sense of glowing pride …. until, of course, the next week!
And the rearranging and decorating continued well into my second career. I made my house a home as well as many houses of friends who liked my design aesthetics.
I am looking forward to meeting new clients and potential new friends in this new career of mine. I want to help you make your home stand out from the rest when listed for sale. Staging is proven to help homes sell 73% quicker and for more money. Who doesn’t want that?
